Lake Eibsee & Zugspitze – GERMANY

Our award-winning field trip experience to Germany was filmed on Christmas Day 2018. Ben, two of his friends and a gigantic German Shepherd named Zeus embarked on a 2000 mile road trip across Europe in a small campervan. They arrived at the car park situated at the side of Lake Eibsee in the Bavarian Alps on Christmas eve, only to be woken up on Christmas morning to everything being covered in snow.

As I write this, the thought of that morning gives me goosebumps. It was magical, the skies were blue, the snow was fresh and a soft cool breeze was gently moving over our skin. The video starts by the shore of the lake, where I (Ben) introduce myself and give the viewer a brief description of where we are. Once the viewer is settled and drone flight is explained, we go into the drone flight sequence. Where the viewer flies majestically over the crystal blue lake, higher and higher. The tallest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze, towering by your side.

Next, we head up the cable car to the top of the mountain. Once at the top, the viewer is shown shots from multiple sides of the summit. Hands down it is the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my life, it is just snowy alps as far as the eye can see!

This video is ideal as a starter video, it is set to gentle music, the pacing is slow and it gives a very relaxing experience to any new viewer.
